5th Annual Raising Hope Fundraising Gala

Celebrate International Women’s Day with REED at our 5th annual Raising Hope Fundraising Gala in support of sexually exploited women.  Come join us for an evening of dessert, wine, live music, a silent auction and an opportunity to connect with others who care about women and justice.

We are thrilled to announce Vancouver-based human rights lawyer Gwendoline Allison as our guest speaker. An experienced litigator and trial advocate, Gwendoline has appeared before all provincial and federal levels of court, and a variety of tribunals.  She is especially passionate about women, and has practiced extensively in the areas of prostitution and human trafficking. 

We will highlight and honour survivor Trisha Baptie as our 5th annual REED Award Recipient.  Trisha is a founding member and Community Engagement Coordinator for EVE (formerly Exploited Voices now Educating) and has made an outstanding contribution to the work of resisting exploitation and embracing dignity.
