Celebrate International Women’s Day with REED at our third annual fundraiser for sexually exploited women, Raising Hope. Guests will arrive to music by local jazz artist Monica Siu and hors d’oeuvres and wine, followed by an address by guest speaker Daphne Bramham. Daphne Bramham is an award-winning journalist and author in Vancouver who has written extensively about the rights of women and girls.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about REED, to support our work, and to meet others who care about justice and women in our city. We will highlight one woman and honour her with our third annual REED award, someone who we believe has made an outstanding contribution to resisting exploitation and embracing dignity.

Come for an evening of bold inspiration. Invite others who are passionate about justice and who want to make a difference in the lives of sexually exploited women in Vancouver.
Buy your early bird tickets before March 2 for $50 each. After March 2 tickets will be sold for $60 each online and at the door. Visit reedevents.ca for more information.

This event is sponsored by the University Women’s Club of Vancouver and is a fundraiser for Resist Exploitation, Embrace Dignity (REED), a Vancouver-based organization that advocates on behalf of sexually exploited women and raises hope for women who need it most. Learn more at embracedignity.org.
